Now for the food!
It's English Muffin Bread! Courtesy of a recipe posted by Ally over at Sweet and Savory. Thanks Ally! It's so easy to make and very tasty. It keeps quite well for a few days too.
Now this was fun! I won a giveaway for a Sodastream home soda maker hosted by Julia at Easy Eco To Go. I've had so much fun using it so far, though it would definitely have been too pricey for me to purchase straight up. Still, it is more ecoconscious than buying cans of soda or flavored water since you reuse the glass bottle with this system :-). I do wish that some of their syrups didn't have artificial colors though, but I suppose having them every once in a while is okay...
Banana and natural peanut butter - it doesn't get much better than that! Oh, and grapefruit is amazing too ;-). I haven't had one in over 4 months or so I believe.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I have been seeing these soda machines in the blog world...I would love to try it out.
ReplyDeleteCool soda machine. The bananas on PB and homemade English muffin bread look yummy! What are the circular breads(?) you have the second set of bananas and natural PB stacked on? I agree- grapefruits are wonderful especially the pink variety.
ReplyDeleteOh, one more thing..... Sue Monk Kidd's novel The Mermaid Chair is excellent too!
ReplyDeleteThe circular breads are Earth Grains 100% whole wheat thin buns, and they were on sale at Hy Vee!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE our Soda Stream! I use it to make carbondated water, mostly! BUT the grapefruit mix is SOOOO good!!!
