Before I announce the winner, I want to share another giveaway with you all!  GoLite, a wonderful company with great values (like a sincere dedication to sustainability), is hosting a FABULOUS giveaway that is taking place ALL summer long:

Also, I was recently given the great opportunity to review some gear from GoLite - so you can look forward to my reviews :-).

Ok, ok... now for the EasyLunchbox System winner!  Random.org tells me the winner is number... 9, which means that Mo' Betta is the lucky winner!

Now I'm off on a brief vacation for the weekend, so I'll have very limited computer access.  I'll be back with the Harbinger Training Ball winner on Monday (enter the giveaway here!) and more fun posts and pics :-).

Have a wonderful weekend you all!

Crofter's Superfruit Spread review.... and an EasyLunchbox System Giveaway (for a green lunch box)!

You all know how I just LOVED the Asia flavored Crofter's Superfruit Spread that I reviewed here :-).  Now I've had the chance to review the North America flavor too (which I purchased with a free product coupon sent to me from Crofter's)... as you can see below.

9.5 of 10.  This spread is a very nice blend of sweet and tart, but I do have to admit that it'd didn't blow me away like the Asia flavor did.  It's still a great quality spread... I'm just not in love with it... as I am with the Asia flavor :-).

In the first picture above, I used the spread on a homemade no bake granola bar.  Here is the recipe and nutrition info for the bars courtesy of caloriecount.about.com.  Below are the bars wrapped and ready to be stored in the fridge!

They need a little more sugar, probably in the form of honey... but they were wonderful topped with the Crofter's Superfruit Spread!

Another recipe I recently tried was for Indian Sweet Bread.  It was quite delicious, and my Dad was a big fan too :-).

And now for the GIVEAWAY!  Kelly from EasyLunchBoxes.com has generously offered to send one of my readers an EasyLunchbox System (lunch box and container set) of their own to try!  Here is my review of the EasyLunchbox System that I was sent.

Here's how to enter:

Visit the EasyLunchbox System website and tell me one cool thing you learned.

Optional entries (be sure to leave a comment for each entry):

The contest ends on July 15, 2010. The winner will be randomly chosen via Random.org generator and will be posted on my blog on July 16. Only one person per household may enter. EasyLunchbox System: An Eco-friendly Lunch Box

I was recently sent a free EasyLunchbox System to review on my blog.  I'd already seen it on a few other blogs, so I was excited to try it for myself!  Here are some bits of info. about the EasyLunchbox System (taken from their site):
  • They're BPA-free, SAFE and environmentally friendly, too! You'll find it easy to 'go green' by using EasyLunchboxes for a waste-free lunch.
  • It's the green, sack lunch alternative — sized just right for kids and adults.
  • No more messy (and environmentally unfriendly) plastic bags, good only for a single use.
  • These lunch boxes nest inside each other when not in use - taking up little space!
You can find many FAQs here!

Now for some pics I took of my EasyLunchbox System:

In the last picture, I used a different plastic container since I wanted a BIG salad - and it fit in the bag perfectly too!  You can see other great lunch ideas for these containers on the website here!

This bag is really the perfect size.  It may not be as fancy as other lunch boxes, but it is sleak and sturdy.  There are five bright colors to choose from too.  Overall I give the EasyLunchbox System a 10 of 10 because of the high quality construction, the BPA-free stackable containers, and the ease of use.  This system is even fairly economical!

AND.... EasyLunchboxes has offered to allow me to host a giveaway for a container set and one lunch bag to one of my readers!  That will be coming up soon, so stay tuned!

Have a wonderful Sunday :-).
