You all know how I just LOVED the Asia flavored Crofter's Superfruit Spread that I reviewed here :-). Now I've had the chance to review the North America flavor too (which I purchased with a free product coupon sent to me from Crofter's)... as you can see below.
9.5 of 10. This spread is a very nice blend of sweet and tart, but I do have to admit that it'd didn't blow me away like the Asia flavor did. It's still a great quality spread... I'm just not in love with it... as I am with the Asia flavor :-).
In the first picture above, I used the spread on a homemade no bake granola bar. Here is the recipe and nutrition info for the bars courtesy of caloriecount.about.com. Below are the bars wrapped and ready to be stored in the fridge!
They need a little more sugar, probably in the form of honey... but they were wonderful topped with the Crofter's Superfruit Spread!
Another recipe I recently tried was for Indian Sweet Bread. It was quite delicious, and my Dad was a big fan too :-).

I would love to spread some jam on that Indian sweet bread...a lovely roll up! I love jam, and my sweet friend keeps on making me homemade jars. I will probably have to pick up some crofter's in the fall.

I tried North America today too. It was fabulous with peanut butter. The sourness of the spread with the sweet nut butter was a great combo.
ReplyDeleteI learned that these lunchboxes even help keep liquidy foods separate in that one side of the container such as juicy watermelon. Cool!
ReplyDeleteYour granola bars look great! I love these lunch boxes, and especially how easy they make it to pack a balanced meal...I learned from the website that I could definitely be doing a better job of doing so.
ReplyDeleteI've seen Crofter's on so many blogs, but I've never had the chance to try it! It looks delcious!
